Geoff Pfeiffer Passes Away at Age 53

The Hellcats Hockey Club are very saddened by the recent passing of Geoff Pfeiffer after 10-month illness.

“Geoff was an extremely kind and caring individual,” said Captain Käppi Kappenen.  “He was a very thoughtful person, who will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.  We extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and teammates during this difficult time.”

Pfeiffer began his Club career in the late part of the 1999-200 Winter season and the 2000 Summer season, where his career predates the Club’s recording keeping. He continued with the Club into the 2000-2001 Winter season and 2001 Summer season where he appeared in 34 career games, scoring 22 goals with 21 assists.  He enjoyed a good career in the Over 40 B division with the Jokers and later the Whalers.

The Club sends its condolences to his family, friends, and teammates on the Whalers.

A memorial service will be held on March 5th, 2016, his birthday.

The Club is asking individuals make a donation to the American Cancer Society is his name.
